The ASUS Eee PC 1015PEM-Netbook makes a good impression as a netbook computer with a solid build quality and strikes a balance between portability and sturdiness.Check out this video from a British dude with a weird accent -
The components are as you would expect. It features one of Intel's 1.5GHz latest dual-core Atom N550 processors, 1GB of DDR3 RAM that can be upgraded to 2GB, Windows 7, and the dual-core technology means it is faster when running multiple applications than a single-core processor would be.
The hard disk is a generous 250GB and the 10.1in 1,024 x 600 matte-finish screen is excellent and and clear. What really impresses however is the range of connections you get. 2 x USB 3 ports 1 x USB 2 port, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11bgn Wi-Fi. The battery is also impressive - a six-cell 5,200mAh that can get between 9 and 12 hours depending on use.
