To be fair, as far as we know Alienware call it a sub 15" laptop, but the name of netbook seems to be one that has stuck for some reason. It will cost less than $1,000.

You can choose between Core 2 Duo CPUs, up to 8GB of Dual Channel DDR3 memory, Verizon or AT&T mobile broadband and a spinning hard drive or a 256GB Solid state disk. The M11x’s base price of $799 price can easily end up over $2,000 ! Not bad for a netbook ! But it won’t be shipping until March 1, 2010.

There are plenty of connectivity options, 3x USB ports, HDMI-out, a DisplayPort connector, Mini FireWire, VGA, card reader and a slot for a SIM card. In the wireless realm, there's 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and 3G for those with a SIM card.
