Netbooks - Asus Eee PC 1101HA Netbook in US Stores

The Asus Eee PC 1101HA is finally available in US stores. The 11.6 inch netbook features a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 1366 x 768 pixel glossy display, a 160GB hard drive, and operates via Windows XP. It also has a 1.3MP webcam, Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and a 6 cell, 62Whr battery.

The Eee PC 1101HA is a larger version of the Eee PC 1008HA,with the same “seashell” case, a textured touchpad and similar coloring. The Atom Z520 processor and Intel GMA 500 graphics are a bit disappointing. The Eee PC T91, with its 1024 x600 pixel display is a bit slow with these specifications. They won't be any better on a higher resolution display.

The Eee PC 1101HA can however be overclocked to run at 32% higher than its normal clock speed.
